Various religious beliefs and yet everyone is so sure (as was I) that their religious beliefs is the appropriate one, the true one. And what was the figuring out factor for which religious beliefs you thought to be true? Where you were born.

I believe that the fact that they represent my recent reading over the last couple of months subconsciously reassures me that I am a reader, a lover of words, as much as anything. And this reminds me that words are very important and, more pertinently, essential to me. A pile of any old random books would refrain from doing the task, clearly. It has to be current reading matter.

Life of Pi by Yann Martel, Told by Jeff Woodman - One of my favorite books ever. The book is well written. The storyteller is fantastic. The story is engaging. This was highly suggested on a number of audio book lists online. After listening to a couple of chapters, I had to check the length of time ago the book was written (2001 ). I could not think that I hadn't become aware of it or read it already. I listened to chapter 16 twice, because it was so gorgeous. I informed my partner and children that they MUST get a copy of this book and read it.
