With all the new versions, updates, builds, and mods, it's hard to believe how far Minecraft has come. Although the game was fully released in 2011, it was still available in Early Access since 2009. It's easy to forget how much has been accomplished since the game's launch. This trailer gives a fascinating glimpse into all that has changed over the years.
This is a fan-created recreation of the original Minecraft trailer. Redditor RedAdventurer11 posted their updated version of Mojang's first big tease and it's fun to watch, especially when you compare it to the original. It follows the same path as the official version, but shows all of the latest features, biomes, and features that have been added to the game in the last decade.

In my opinion, it does a better job of selling the game simply because of how much new content has been added. RedAdventurer11 made it a point to show the major updates in the proper order as LennyTheSpider has pointed out. This section runs for around 58 seconds and features the ice spikes that begin at 1.7 and ocean monuments beginning at 1.8 and the fights at the end of the city starting at 1.9.
It's a great little detail that really helps to create a sense progression and the length of the video itself. It's also not something RedAdventurer11 expected people to notice - however, the Minecraft community never ceases to be awe-inspiring. This trailer has been reanimated and is a great piece of nostalgia. It's hard not to smile when you see it.
