The FDA has identified Avanos Medical's recall of its Cortrak*2 useal access system. Avanos Mediacal Cortrak 2 The recall of 629 devices distributed between 2016-2022 began on March 21.

Cortrak*2 is using the recall to make changes to its guidelines for use. The new instructions contain instructions for users to verify that tubes are placed according to institution protocols before applying them to provide nutrition.
