Lenovo is the world's largest maker of personal computers is also a major producer of servers that reside inside data centers and power online services like gaming and video streaming.
Intel's Xeon chips have been the dominant choice for server chips, but AMD has been gaining ground since its re-entry into business three years ago , with its rival EPYC processors that earned positive reviews.

Article content Lenovo announced on Tuesday that its newest server design will house two AMD processor chips on a single server. This will make the servers more capable of handling a greater demands. Prior to this, Lenovo had only offered servers that had one AMD chip.
