We want to make sure that Soul Wars is great fun for everyone, and since its launch last week we've been hard at work to improve the minigame and improve the experience.



Last week we made a few hotfixes, which can be found here. We can confirm that there will be a waiting room in the lobby from next week and that team selection will be randomised.



In the meantime Here are the Soul Wars changes going live in this week's update: - The timer for inactivity will begin to count down after 10 seconds after the game starts instead of instantly. You can now look over the items in the 'Other section of the Reward Shop. - The Soul Wars tutorial will now display chatheads of bearded characters in all their fuzzy glory. To show how many you have opened, a "Check" option was added to the Spoils Of War in the Reward shop. - The time it takes to leave a Graveyard is now 10 seconds, which is down from 15 seconds. You'll also get immunity upon leaving. The immunity will last for a short period of time, or until you assault another person. When you attempt to attack Avatars from outside the boss room will now cause the minigame to pull you into the room instead of telling you to move closer. Healing with bandages now shows the name of the person who treated you, rather than your own. Players who have been injured on Deadman planets are no longer able to enter the Soul Wars tutorial or go to an area of waiting. - Soul fragments and bones will now appear over other items dropped in Soul Wars. Spoils of War on Entrana can't be opened any longer. - Gravestones will no longer appear in Soul Wars waiting areas. The players will no longer be able to avoid the temporary ban on ending a game early by traveling to another game. - Balanced certain items in Spoils Of War.



Also, after the initial launch of Soul Wars and the addition of new worlds to accommodate all players wanting to try it out, we have decided to be continuing with three Soul Wars worlds, one in each global region: - 320 US - 350 UK 535 AUS



Ectoplasmator To clarify that all spectral creatures can be used by the Ectoplasmator. God Wars Dungeon All four God Wars Dungeon generals now have their own shared Ironman instances. If you're an Ironman you will be transported to the shared Ironman instance by entering one of the boss rooms. Regular players can't enter this area, however other Iron players have the right to do so, which means you're much less likely of being a nuisance during your fight.



The 'Peek' feature on the door of each room will tell you how many players are already in the Ironman instance for that boss. Runescape Wiki You can also check the braziers outside the rooms. If a brazier is lit, it indicates that someone is in the room.



Regular players will not be able to access these braziers or Ironman instances.
