Gamescom 2022 What to Expect and What To Watch

Gamescom 2022 will feature new details for Minecraft Legends and Sega's Sonic Frontiers and will likely reveal more information about Modern Warfare 2 and Bethesda's forthcoming space RPG Starfield. Here's how you can watch Gamescom 2022.



Gamescom 2022 begins on August 23, and if you're in the UK the event starts at 7pm, with viewers on the US East Coast able to watch at 2PM, whereas those on PT can start at 11AM.



The most important and most confirmed information is the release of more details and possibly additional gameplay footage from Sonic Frontiers. But host Geoff Keighley also confirmed that the Gamescom Opening Show will include "30+ Games" which means it's possible that 2022's biggest releases as well as 2023's will be teased.



Call of Duty: Vanguard received an additional gameplay trailer during last year's event. Modern Warfare 2 seems to be a good bet this year's release.
