The Morning After: IPadOS 13.4 Brings Mouse and Trackpad Support

Good morning, everyone! You look fabulous.



Years after Apple's tablet first debuted it's now iPad is now comparable to other computers in one important way: You can easily use it using a mouse or trackpad. The 13.4 update that rolled out yesterday for iOS and iPadOS added this feature and many other new features, like the ability to use third-party navigation apps on the CarPlay dashboard, as well as a revamped iCloud file sharing that will be much more efficient.



Still, one of the biggest changes is in the browser. Safari for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS have now made it a default to block third-party cookies. This is the first major browser to do this. Google has announced that it will do the same with Chrome, but not until 2022. This is a significant privacy enhancement, as it eliminates any belief that exceptions are allowed or that cross-site tracking is permitted. Android makes me feel more secure, and I already use it.

Royole claims that the FlexPai 2 will come with Royole's third generation Cicada Wing FFD, which has a significantly improved bend radius. It's now just 1mm. The FlexPai 2 is still able to bend over 200,000 times even though it has a 3mm diameter.



This phone has the ability to fold more efficientlypossibly even more similar to, if not better than, Huawei's Mate Xs which has a similar outward-facing flexible screen. Huawei is working with ZTE on future phoneswhich means you're more likely to find one out in the wild.
