Minecraft: Bishop of Ely joins game for Gospel lessons

To inspire younger generations to worship the Lord, the video game Minecraft that allows players to construct whatever they'd like with blocks, was used.

Becky Dyball, a Reverend from Sawtry, Cambridgeshire, joined the game to share Bible stories in a different way.
With the help of her familymembers, she also brought her boss, the Bishop of Ely, into the game.
She explained that the idea came from an urge to engage children and excite them about the idea of worship as a group.
The Right Reverend Stephen Conway Bishop of Ely said: "I am so happy to have been a part of a new way to share Bible Stories and the good news about Jesus in this way.
"It is a great resource for collective worship in our schools that I recommend highly."
