Vanilla Wow Private Server Recomendations

So I haven't played on a private server since 2016 or so (Kronos Vanilla). I used to play traditional WoW and had a lot of fun. However since TBC was released the servers have been down and I've really been missing vanilla. Are there any private servers for vanilla that are doing well , or are they all dead?



The two most popular servers at the moment are vanilla +, custom, and turtle wow. Both servers have about 1000 pop peak.



The options that are blizzlike are darrowshire and Kronos I haven't heard of them in a while but I recently heard that they had a population of 300 people I don't know whether this is true or not.



There's also the chromiectaft. It's vanilla content on 3.3.5 with raids overturned in compensation. It's currently at 1000 pop , but will eventually move to TBC once vanilla content is completed (they're only at Mc, so there's still time).



Chromiecraft is the server that I didn't even know I was looking for. It is a complete server and I just discovered it.



custom vanilla servers are doing well, not sure about pure vanilla.



Kronos for pure vanilla, pure PVP (you could also play Darrowshire however the quality is much lower than Kronos).



Turtlewow to provide alternative vanilla PVP with PVE option.



How is the kronos popping? people levelling?



They are all dead for actual Vanilla servers right now unfortunately because of SOM and Classic the only ones barely alive are custom.



There are many custome vanilia servers. I am currently playing on V+ ((vanilia plus)) It came with an amazing class rebalancing feature, added the ability to mob , changed the majority of items and added/changed them.



It's fantastic because it takes all the good stuff from vanilia and remixes many other things, giving it a fresh look to it to re-explore different worlds and experiment with new ideas while still feeling familiar.

I'll definitely check out vanilla plus, which sounds interesting



Turtle wow. It has a hardcore mode...ironman challenge. gives new breath to wow.



bad thing for me is the server includes custom races, high elf (BE basically, but ALLY sided) and goblins...



What's wrong with custom races? They are optional However, the old races are still available. Datchley is blogging They are not random additions, since the team is extremely concerned about Warcraft history.



I would say Turtle WoW is my favorite.
