how to stop thinking in a loop

- i want to be funny, but also taken seriously.
- wanna try connecting to the gal from the pier.

Today, we talked about re-focusing myself in the face of spending the full weekend studying P() content, and how I had put myself into a hyperfocus state. Good for studying and exams, good for getting long projects done, bad when you can't turn it off at the end of the day and LSM or P() is all you can think of. Talked about how I felt less lonely bc of flatmate interaction (though I'd like to make friends on the outside too), how I wanted to talk to the fella of the poker club (Will).
We did some re-centering, spent a good deal of time talking about my trouble with clubs and how i wanted to do them, but i'd had bad experience in the past and i didn't want to spend so long putting together a list of club contacts and attendance info.

I should:
- Read LSM 2.1, 2.2 to get a handle on the quiz content.
- Go over the Week 3 problem sheet to get a handle on the quiz content.
- Take the time to ID meeting times for the 14 clubs I'm interested in.
- Go back home and use the bathroom.
- Sleep by midnight.
