Rami Beracha's advice to students studying at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya is inspired by his personal experience. Rami is a young man who was adamant about attending law school. Though he wasn't sure if it was the right decision for him, he decided to study law and graduated with an MBA in New York. He then was employed overseas in a law firm. In the course of his work at the Wall Street law firm, he realized that he actually was interested in business more than law. Therefore, he decided to leave his job and moved to France to pursue an MBA.
Following her graduation in the year 1996, Beracha joined the Venture Capital Fund Pitango. It is Israel's largest venture capital investment company. Pitango is a partner for companies in the early stages of their growth, and focuses on the most important sectors within the high-tech. Pitango has invested over 200 times and completed 85 exits. Rami was made managing partner in 2000. In the following 18 years Rami negotiated dozens of deals that led to successful exits to large corporations in the Fortune 500 like Broadcom, Marvel and Cisco.
He didn’t stop there. In 2011 Globes awarded Beracha the "Esteemed Partner" award, acknowledging him as an influential investor he was becoming. Rami started a new initiative called Sosa in 2014. Sosa has innovation centers in New York and Tel Aviv where they support innovative high-tech companies by partnering with international entrepreneurs who want to cooperate with promising Israeli startups. Sosa was recently selected to lead the New York City cyber center.

Dubai, a super-modern and wealthy city, is the ideal spot to begin. Ender Ventures or his newest fund is the concept behind Ender Ventures. This fund will aid in the development of UAE high-tech businesses in the fields of virtual reality and artificial intelligence. The United Arab Emirates is unique in its business outlook. Due to its low corporate taxes and favorable laws, many companies will be drawn to the UAE in the next few years.

While Rami Beracha appears to have achieved success in all the endeavors that he's set his eyes on, his path has not been easy. Beracha as well as many Israelis joined the army as an infant soldier. He was a Paratrooper's Brigade Combat Soldier and was a combat soldier during the Lebanon War. In 1983, just after the end of the war, Rami was part of an emergency rescue team that was sent to aid wounded soldiers in a wild minefield. Unfortunately, Rami stepped on a hidden mine and lost his foot and hand in the accident.

The hospitalization he had to endure was among his most difficult experiences. He couldn't walk , and was depressed and despairing. All of his dreams of advancing his career in the army seemed lost, and he wasn't sure who is he. Rami managed to overcome his pain and find the determination to continue living and chase new goals. He set out to become more powerful and stronger than before the injuries. Rami took on the challenge of trying different extreme sports. He is now a fan of kitesurfing, snowboarding, and has even been on the mountain of Mount Kilimanjaro. He's always looking to improve his abilities and is feeling like his former healthy self is pushing him on.

He has volunteered for numerous organizations and donates to. He is extremely committed to helping young men, who suffered from combat injuries. Rami accompanied a group of wounded soldiers to Nepal in the year 2016, and he was awarded the rank of major. In 2018, he was promoted to major in Israeli army's fire and paratrooper brigades. Despite all the challenges he had to face, his dreams were realized in his early years as a young man. His story and passion is an inspiration for many. Rami didn't let injuries hold him back He continued to learn and experimenting until he was even more resilient than before.
