Rami Beracha's advice for students at Herzliya’s Interdisciplinary Center is based on his personal experience. Rami is a young man who and a law student, chose to go to law school. While he was not sure if it was the right choice for him, he continued to study law and got a Master’s in New York. He then was employed overseas in a law office. He discovered that his passion was more for business than law through his time working in the Wall Street law office. Therefore, he decided to leave his job and relocated to France to complete an MBA.

After graduating in the year 1996, Beracha began working for the Venture Capital Fund Pitango, the biggest venture capital investment fund in Israel. Pitango is a fund that focuses on companies that are in the early stages of that are developing the core areas of high tech and has received more than 200 investment from its investors and exited more than 85 companies up to now. Rami became the managing partner at Pitango in the year 2000. He led several deals that led to success in the exits of fortune 500 companies such as Broadcom as well as Marvel, Cisco, and Apple over the next 18 years.

It didn't end there. Globes awarded Beracha the 2011 "Esteemed Partner” award. The award recognized him as an influential investor. Rami founded Sosa in 2014 as a brand new initiative. Sosa has innovation centres located in New York, Tel Aviv and Tel Aviv. Here they help innovative high-tech firms partner with entrepreneurs from all over the world seeking to work with promising Israeli startups. The idea for his newest fund called Ender Ventures, as he plans to call it, is to attract Israeli ads European Investors to support UAE high-tech businesses in the field of artificial intelligence, virtual reality robotics, robotics and much more. The United Arab Emirates is unique in its outlook on business. Thanks to its low tax rate for business and the laws that are business-friendly the country is expected to attract many companies to its doors over the next few years.

Presently, Rami Beracha seems to be a success in nearly everything he has chosen. But his journey wasn't always as easy. Beracha was just a teenager when he was drafted into the army. He was a member of the Paratrooper's Brigade as a combat soldier, and fought during the Lebanon War. In 1983, shortly following the end of the war, Rami was part of the rescue group that was formed to aid wounded soldiers in a wild minefield. Unfortunately, Rami stepped on a hidden mine and lost his foot and hand in the accident.
His time in hospital rehabilitation was one the most difficult of his entire existence. He was in a state of disarray and unable to move and eventually began to feel depressed and hopeless. The dreams of becoming an army officer seemed unrealized and he lost all sense of himself. Through his suffering, Rami was able to find the passion to keep going and make new dreams. He was determined to get stronger and more efficient than before the injuries. Rami was determined to explore different extreme sports. He is a fan of kitesurfing and snowboarding. He has also trekked up Mount Kilimanjaro. He is often awed by his uncontrollable previous life pushing him to the limits and racing him.

He gives donations and is a volunteer for many organisations and is incredibly passionate about helping young men who, like himself suffered injuries in battle. Rami was part of a group who was wounded during his time as a soldier on the Nepal trip in 2016. In 2018 he received the rank of Major in the fire brigades and paratroopers within the Israeli military. He had dreams when he was when he was a teenager and they came to fruition despite all the obstacles. His life and story is a great inspiration to others, never to give up regardless of the situation. Rami did not let her injuries hold her back. He was always trying new techniques, learning, and growing until he became stronger than he was before.
