Rami Beracha's advice for students at Herzliya’s Interdisciplinary Center is based on his own personal experience. Rami began his studies in law as a teenager. Although he was unsure whether it was the best option for him, he continued to study law and got an MBA in New York. He then worked in an overseas law office. After his time at the Wall Street firm, he discovered that he was passionate about business, more so than law. He resigned from his job and then he relocated to France to complete an MBA.

Shortly after graduating from college in 1996 Beracha began work at the Pitango Venture Capital Fund the largest venture capital investment fund. Pitango, which focuses on early-stage companies developing core areas in high tech and has received more than 200 investment from its investors and exited over 85 companies up to now. Rami was named as managing partner in the year 2000. In the following 18 years, the company negotiated numerous deals that saw successful exits from Fortune 500 giants Broadcom, Marvel Cisco, Cisco, Apple, and Cisco.
He didn't stop there. Globes in 2011 conferred Beracha "Esteemed Partner" recognition, recognising his influence as an investor. Rami founded Sosa in 2014 as a brand new initiative. Sosa has innovation centres located in New York, Tel Aviv and Tel Aviv. Here they assist innovative high-tech companies to partner with entrepreneurs from all over the world looking to collaborate with promising Israeli startups. Sosa was recently selected to construct and manage the New York City's cyber centre.

Presently, Rami Beracha seems to be a success in almost every area he's chosen. But his journey was not always simple. Beracha, like most Israelis became a soldier when he was just a young man. He was an Paratrooper's Brigade combat soldier and fought in the Lebanon War. Rami joined a rescue group which was tasked with helping soldiers injured in a wild minefield in 1983, shortly following the end of war. Rami fell on the mines, and fell, and lost his foot and his hand.

His time in the rehabilitation hospital was among the most difficult experiences of his life. He couldn't move , and fell into despair and depression. He was unsure of who he was anymore and all his dreams of progressing his career in the army seemed dead. Rami did manage to get over his grief and discover the determination to continue living and pursue new dreams. He set out to become more powerful and stronger than he was prior the injuries. Rami was able to test out extreme sports. Nowadays, he enjoys kitesurfing (and snowboarding) and has trekked Mount Kilimanjaro. He believes that his unbeaten self from the past is pushing him forward , as he tries to improve himself.

Rami gives his time and money to numerous organizations. He is committed to helping young wounded soldiers. Rami was part of a team that was wounded during his time in the army on a Nepal trip in 2016. He was promoted to the rank major in the Israeli paratrooper/fire brigades army in the year. He was a dreamer as when he was a teenager and they were able to come to fruition despite all the obstacles. His passion and story can be a source of inspiration for other people. Rami did not allow the injuries to deter himfrom learning and trying different things until he was more resilient than ever before.
