Our biggest error is to assume complete alignment in each other's expectations but never bother to understand the expectations of our partner. There's one thing, however, that we are completely in agreement with our partner on and he doesn't hesitate to miss an opportunity to expand the gap in expectations. .... And there is no one on the planet to warn us of the coming confrontation.
There are many reasons behind communication issues. They usually are related to our individual personalities. People with square personalities are more likely to not to communicate well with liberal people. People who are aggressive may struggle to align their expectations with passive people. But this is easy to identify - we all know squared from liberal, and aggressive from passive.

But what if they are totally different? It is possible that there is an individual gap in personality that is not known about. It has not been found or reported on or studied by anyone. !
Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce you to a different type of personality we all have: the FULL CIRCLE versus the HALLF CIRCLE personality! !
Be aware that this is not a form of the guidance for your behavior. After you have read the analysis, try and figure out which you are the most like in your character. Also, try to figure who your partner in real life is. If you find that you are of distinct types and you are not happy. It could be the reason behind the differences you have. If, however, you are identical in your appearance, then I'm sorry that I'm unable to explain why your relationships look so awful.
So here we go...

Humans are divided into two categories. Some of us fall into the "full-circle" category which refers to a person who is totally independent and doesn't believe that the need for a partner. It is true that he may need a partner. Absolutely! All true ... However, he will have to live without his dream partner until he finds one. And, once he has found the one he wants, he would like to continue living his life shoulder to shoulder with his hopefully complete circle - of friends.
The other group is the "half-acircle" kinds. They will not let go after they have found their miserable lover. They will work to physically join their victim in a happy circle. The Halves aren't content with anything less than looking at one another from zero distance. They won't accept anything less intimate in order to meet their need to be integrated with the other half and make up a whole.
One interesting differentiator between these two types is the decision to end a relationship. The entire circle will undoubtedly let go of a partner who has lost their chemistry quickly. The half-circle types are, however, will redefine the definition of having chemistry mutually with their partners and say 'I'm holding on to this B..ST..RD, , until I can replace him using a suitable upgrade'.

Imagine a dance where two half-circles and a complete circle try to make their partner feel happy. The Half is able to make two steps to the left of the comfort zone. The sudden invasion of his private space can be a bit intimidating. So he fixes this zone-invasion-problem by making a gentle step backward. The only issue is taking the Half out of his comfort zone. Once .... The Half is convinced that the Full has made an innocent mistake. When he take a step to make up for it with a step forward. However, the Full becomes angry and take a further, more significant step to the back.. the Half starts to think that there is something sinister about what is going on this time and his next move is not gentle at all.. the Full.. The Half.. the Half and the Full are pissed of off each other. They are unable to explain their pain and don't know why. If only they knew that one is half and the other is Full it could have helped them ...
There is no single conclusion to this essay , but there are a few action items:
1. Discover who you are
2. Find out more about your friend
3. Realize there is a difference.
3. Respect different opinions!
