The Theme for the Event was my Story
Tubecon is a community-driven international YouTube event that brings together YouTube creators and their audiences in arena-sized public events. The first Tubecon took place in August 2014 at Hartwall Arena, Helsinki with over 5,000 attendees. 1 Tubecon has been held 25 times across four countries (Finland Sweden Spain Switzerland and Switzerland) with over 120,000 people who attended all events. In recent years Tubecon has grown significantly as the YouTube and online influencer community has also expanded. The biggest event of Tubecon attracted more than 18,000 attendees and featured more than 200 YouTubers or online influencers.
Tubecon event program is developed in collaboration with local online influencers and it includes a variety of program elements like Meet & Greets, Tubecon Video Awards panels and concerts. Tubecon 2018 will take place in Finland, Sweden and Germany, and letters of intent were signed in Romania, Latvia, and Austria. [3]

2014[edit]
The story of Tubecon began in 2014 when Finnish creators wanted to create an event in which their viewers and they could get to know each other in a safe and enjoyable way. [4]

2015[edit]
Tubecon 2015 took place at Hartwall Arena in August 2015[5With over 10,000 attendees.
2016[edit]
The Finnish Tubecon was held from 12-13 August 2016. The second day was sold out. The event was attended by 18,500 people. [6]
Sweden[edit]
Tubecon in Sweden began in Stockholm on January 6, 2016. The event was attended by more than 4,500 people. They also held a tour during autumn, that began on 9 September in Vasteras and concluded on 10 December in Kungsbacka. About 50 YouTube creators visited eight cities. In 2016 more than 15,000 people visited Tubecon Sweden events.
Germany[edit]
The Tubecon was held in Germany at the Turbinenhalle Oberhausen on February 20 in 2016. Special VIP and Aftershow Tickets were also available.
2017[edit]
Finnish event was organized in Hartwall Arena on 12-13 August with around 17,500 visitors. [8]
Spain[edit]
First ever Tubecon Spain was held on the 18th of February at the wiZink Center in Madrid. The event was attended by around 4,000 visitors and over 200 Spanish creators who attended. [9]
Switzerland[edit]
Tubecon Switzerland was organized for the first time in Zurich's Hallenstation on 29 December. Around 2,500 people took part to the event. [11]
2018[edit]
Finland[edit]
The Finnish Tubecon took place for the first time in Messukeskus Helsinki between 17 and 18 August. The theme for the event was "My Story". The event featured approximately 200 Finnish YouTubers. Tubecon hosted creators from around the world including the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Thailand, and Germany in the first Tubecon World Meet. International creators included Bars and Melody, Jon Cozart aka Paint, Softpomz and MrTrashPack. A new TubeCity concept was unveiled at the event. It allowed different categories, like gaming, beauty, fashion and food, to have their own blocks within the city-like event space. Tubecon introduced Tube Academy which was a brand-new educational track that was open to filmmakers and anyone interested in learning more about the production of videos and the business. [12]
