What is Gryphosate herbicide, might ask?
Glyphosate, also referred to as "glyphosate Isopropylamine Salt", is an herbicide that is widely used in the fields of agriculture and in garden around the world. After being sprayed, it's absorbed from the green parts of the plant, such as leaves and stems, moves to the roots, and withers the entire. Because it is a non-selective herbicide it will kill all plants when the agent is sprayed to the leaf's surface. Many pesticide companies sell herbicides containing glyphosate because the patent period for the ingredients has expired. All glyphosate herbicides that are being sold are examined by a rigorous inspector.
グリホサート One of the benefits of glyphosate (glyphosate) is its "safety". This chemical is not toxic to animals, and it inhibits the action of enzymes in plants. In addition, when the chemical solution is in contact with the soil, it becomes a food for microorganisms and is differentiated into carbon dioxide, water and so on. This is also characterized by the fact that there are no herbicidal components remain. It is a pesticide recognized around the world, and it helps in reducing greenhouse gas emissions because it allows no-tillage cultivation.
Glyphosate in tap water
Tap water is safe and has no risk
Is there glyphosate in tap water?
Weekly Shincho stated in April 2020 that "In Japan, there's no standard value left for glyphosate present in the tap water. It's just the goal value." In addition, the value is higher than other pesticides as well as other countries, and it is also drinking water contaminated with pesticides. I wrote an article in which I stated that there was. There has been speculation that concentrations of high levels could remain in the tap water. This content is not correct.
First , the reason why glyphosate does not have an "standard value" instead of a "target value" is that , if the draft water quality standard value (concentration that is safe drinking 2 liters of tap water every day for a lifetime) is glyphosate, 10 minutes of 2ppm. The tap water never had a concentration above 0.2ppm (1). According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare There was never a case of glyphosate exceeding 0.02ppm was found in Japan tap water. The real reason is that there isn't any risk of being detected.
The glyphosate sprayed in soil is actually degraded at half the rate in just two days. The same concentration is then transfered to tap water and rivers, and will not be affected by pollution.
Japanese tap water is healthy
Tap water in Japan can be trusted as safe. It is safe to drink tap water in its natural state. There are 51 requirements to be inspected, and the water supply is under strict quality control. According to the pH difference in water, it can be classified as "acidic" or "neutral" or "alkaline". However, Japan's water quality standard states that tap water has to have a pH close to neutral (5.8 or higher and 8.6 or lower). If your home's water supply pipes are damaged, iron rust might still be an option.
How is tap water made? Tap water mostly uses river and dam water as the primary source. グリホサート After eliminating impurities via precipitation and filtration, the water is sterilized in water purification plants. The tap water thus created is delivered to the homes of each household through water pipes.
The Story of Japanese pesticide residue standards value
Japan's standard value for glyphosate for wheat is currently 5ppm. But it was 5ppm before December 2017. There are numerous opinions on this issue, such as "We decreased it to 30ppm 6 times and did not consider health effects."
Glyphosate is a component of tapwater.
The residual standard value of glyphosate is the same as the international standard.
グリホサート The truth is, we did not reduce the value of the standard. Instead, we made adjustments to make it meet the residual standard that is set by international standards. Japan imports large quantities of wheat from South America and the United States. And the importer, the foreign producer, naturally regulates the use of glyphosate to the international standard of 30ppm. The standard value for Japan of glyphosate is 5ppm. グリホサート グリホサート If it's higher than the value of the standard the import are banned. This will result in reduced supply of wheat and could lead to Japanese food items being endangered. To ensure that we meet international standards, we've revised the standard values. Also, safety is not an issue in the current standards.
Understand glyphosate in a clear manner
To prevent consumers from being in a state of mind that is influenced by emotional debates about pesticide residues, it's vital to get the right information based on research carried out by experts. http://############################################################################################################################################################################################################################################################### It is also important to avoid letting gossip distract you from your healthy eating habits.
