Minecraft Dungeons The Game will be Launched On May 26th.

If you're like me and would like to get at minimum ten copies without having to beg Executive Producer David Nisshagen and Game Director Mans Olson for them, Minecraft Dungeons will be available to pre-order on select platforms. If you're already on Xbox Game Pass you can also play on the first day by pre-installing the game on PC or console - beginning today.

You may be asking "What is Minecraft Dungeons?". I could ask you if you have been living under a brick, but I'd prefer to explain: Minecraft Dungeons, our new action-adventure and dungeon-crawler-style video game, lets up to four players fight to take on Arch-Illager and his ever-present swarms and swarms each level a thrilling time. Not only can you do this in the company of your fellow players, but you also have all forms of weapons, artifacts, and enchantments at your disposal. Is Minecraft Dungeons a Minecraft-based game? Minecraft Dungeons is an all-new standalone game that is set in the Minecraft universe, and has the majority of its blocksy appeal and challenges. Although you might not be able to put blocks together or build a house out of cobblestones but you're still an adventurer exploring the Overworld.



Are there character classes in Minecraft Dungeons? Minecraft Dungeons does not have classes. Minecraft is about the player creating their own style and identity through the equipment they have. You are what you wear!



Xbox Game Pass will include Minecraft Dungeons. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will be able to access both the console as well as Windows PC. The Standard Edition Minecraft Dungeons membership will include the Standard Edition. Xbox Game Pass members can also save 10 percent on related Minecraft Dungeons DLC and add-ons!



Does Minecraft Dungeons include multiplayer? If yes how does it work? Just grab your controller and dive in! Minecraft Dungeons can support up to four players, both in online and local couch co-op modes. We do not offer the couch.



Will Minecraft Dungeons support cross-platform multiplayer? At launch, you'll be able to play online multiplayer with your friends on the same platform. We're currently working to bring cross-platform multiplayer on Xbox One, Windows 10, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in the near future, via an update that is free after the game's launch.



Are there online multiplayer matchmaking? No. No.



Do missions change from one game to the next? Yes! Each mission in Minecraft Dungeons is a mix of procedural content as well as carefully crafted elements that tie into the mission's objectives and the narrative. This means that while certain missions will be the same, the routes as well as the mobs, treasures, and other items you find will change every time you play them.



Are there DLC? Yes! You'll have access to two new DLC packs with Minecraft Dungeons Hero Edition. We'll soon release more details.



Why cannot I pre-order Minecraft Dungeons across all platforms? Minecraft Dungeons is coming to all platforms, but it's not possible to pre-order on every platform. In the meantime, keep in touch with the official Minecraft Dungeons channels for the most recent updates.
