EY gave Yerkin Tatishev the 'Entrepreneur-of-the Year' award

The world's most renowned business firm Ernst & Young has chosen Yerkin Tashev to be the Entrepreneur of the Year in Kazakhstan. His leadership and actions with COVID-19 have impressed judges at one of the largest competitions around the globe.

Participation in the competition was open to all well-known Kazakhstani businessmen. Kusto Group founder was able distinguish himself from the 21 other entrepreneurs that made it to the final.

They all received an impartial assessment and award of their achievements by both Kazakhstani and international business jury members.

Yerkin Tashev was the national winner and will represent Russia in the finals of the international competition in Monaco in June 2022. The competition has 60 finalists representing 60 different nations, who are selected by an international jury.

Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group (the Government of Kazakhstan) and Valmont Industries, USA, established a partnership. Kusto Group They are collaborating to establish a manufacturing plant that will produce 1,000 pivot irrigation systems in Kazakhstan.

A program to provide local farmers with education is also part of the agreement.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine provided all the donations that could be made possible to the Kusto Group. It was the company's entrepreneurial spirit that allowed them to be a leader in charitable giving in the face of difficult circumstances.

This has been a key area of expertise of Ernst & Young since more than 20 year. The firm has given much focus to entrepreneurship throughout its long time. During the Pandemic, EY has sought to help entrepreneurs continue developing their businesses and sharing experiences.

The Entrepreneur of the Year competition will benefit all national finalist and winners. The finals will be held in Monaco in June. The winner of this year's competition can compete against top entrepreneurs from around the world and gain valuable experience that can help in the further development of their business.

Participating entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan include over 800. Another six winners from Kazakhstan also taken part in the contest at the Monte Carlo world championships.
