Yesterday was the 9th birthday of my son! NINE!! !



A Minecraft Party was requested. The easiest way to make one is to find other ideas from others! So I created this board. SECURECONTENT Sunny By Design had many amazing things. Here's my ode to Minecraft Party..



Creeper juice. Those little Chubby drinks. Paper ripped off and faces put on.



Torches= twisted pretzel sticks. I could have coated them with chocolate that was melting red, but time was running out. The slime balls were to be green jello squares however, they were left in my fridge. The zombie boogies were actually wasabi peas!



Sorry for the blurry photo. I started making little TNT bundles, then decided not to, putting them in glasses instead. My favorite part of the event was when I said," there are still lots of fruits and veggies left. I'm going to put them in your loot bags even if you don't consume the fruits and veggies today. Food was being eaten when there was a loud woosh at the table. :



The cake was a brownie, not a cake. I decided to leave the edges uniced as the brownie would be crumpier. Fluffy Boiled Frosting was the icing. It wasn't sweet in any way. We had made too much cake so I made meringue puffs. These were also left at home.



Here's a tip I learned To make meringue, beat your egg whites, bake at 350 degrees Add them to the oven, then turn off the oven and let them cool. It's simple.



Signs and grass leaves were sourced from Sizzix dies. The large, honkin' thick ones. You can do it with the cuttlebug with a B plate on the bottom and the top of the die. Do not use the A plate a the entire. To let loose some party energy, we rented the local arena.



We go to the general skating every week at least. This boy has come a long way in the last few weeks. He even looks like a skater now!

Loot bag time!



The loot inside. I don't like bags for loot with a lot of small things. So I gave handmade creeper cookies, which took two days and a trip to the local bakery to ice (Thanks Flying Fox) and an album of Minecraft Parodies. I discovered the title on YouTube and gave it to my husband to make his magic. Then, some snacks.

Edited May 8: Wow y'all are probably in a reading frenzy for minecraft party ideas.What we would not do for our children. At this time, I've had close to 10,000 hits on this post. That's a lot of hits in my world. People have been pining my creeper juice bottles like crazy. Awesome. But take a look at my sidebar. There are only 13 followers. It makes me feel lonely.
