Proving the Flat Earth Theory with Orbital Simulations (Satire)

NASA has been lying to us for many years. Everyone knows that the Earth is flat. If you go outside, does the surface appear like it's round? This farce ends today. Using simulations, I will prove that the Earth is not a sphere, but rather a Minecraft superflat world.

We begin with a simple simulation that shows the Sun and Earth. Sizes are not to scale to facilitate visibility.

Looks normal enough, right? You might think that this is proof that my theory is wrong, but just you keep watching and you will see. Let's add all the inner planets.

Everything looks good, such nice and smooth ellipses. Now we add the moon. Get ready.

Notice how the moon doesn't rotate around the Earth. Actually, it's some distance behind, whereas normal planets would.

Could it be that my simulation is flawed? That I failed to consider the motion of the Earth within the context of the moon's own orbit? Do I just come up with amazingly stupid explanations to give to my physics teacher, justification for the apparent inaccuracy of the project? Server Stat No. This is unquestionable proof that something is working. However, the truth might be more than any of your readers can even imagine. Another thought came to my mind while I was writing this essay. What do you think if the flat Earth theory is just an illusion or a red herring designed to obscure the real truth?

After a lot of study I came to an answer. The Earth and its moon may be round, but there's an unsettling secret that the powers that be are hiding from us. The truth is that the moon is made from green cheese. Its surface is dotted with craters. There is no plausible explanation for this unless one believes that the Swiss and not the US of America were the first to reach the moon.

Don't forget that further studies have proved this theory wrong. Additionally, the popularity of Swiss cheese in the US offers a reasonable explanation.

After a lot of Minecraft gaming, I've come to a different conclusion. Remember our original claim that the Earth was a superflat world? While orbital mechanics might eliminate that possibility, I propose an alternative theory, one that combines the wisdom of the past with the modern science. When you feel you are mentally and emotionally prepared to read further, continue reading.

The Earth is hollow cube, a superflat world. What is the relationship with theories that are already in place? The surface of the Earth remains flat in this scenario, and fits into the majority of the evidence flatties offer. However, this is also in line with the arguments made against flat Earth by gravity, since there is enough mass distribution to prevent extreme shifts. Further, this matches the results of the simulation since a hollow cube would have a lower mass and would be unable to keep the moon in its orbit. Below is an illustration.
