Mojang's Minecraft is now at 8 million combined sales on Xbox 360, the game's retail release clearly building on the XBLA version's success. Take a look at the UK charts this week. The Xbox 360 Edition is the fourth title to be Numero Uno in just three weeks. The other three are The Last of Us and Dead Island: Riptide.

The feat is happening as the Xbox 360 version prepares for Title Update 12, with its full changelog is now up on PlayXBLA. The PC version features Ocelots that frighten creepers into running and also the jungle biomes where they appear.
