With over 6 years Post Qualification Experience as a lawyer in Nigeria, I have spent a large part of this as a lawyer advising on several complex corporate finance and banking and finance transactions. This fuelled my acute interest in Finance, hence, my application to study the masters in finance and data analytics at the University of Stirling. Thus, at the beginning of my career in finance, upon graduation, i cannot think of any other place to begin my career other than at Morgan Stanley. Further strengthening my interest is that "a career at Morgan Stanley means belonging to an ideas-driven culture that embraces new perspectives to solve complex problems". I believe with the age long presence of Morgan Stanley that has defied years, there is a lot of knowledge on the table to be learnt by a willing employee. I am willing and i believe i would not only do my job at Morgan Stanley, i believe i will also grow to imbibe the values and culture at Morgan Stanley

Over my years as a lawyer in Nigeria, i have developed excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong team work and excellent client handling and retention skills, and working in a fast-paced environment. Also over the course of my postgraduate study, I have developed strong skills in interacting with people of different cultures and background. Thus i believe this will help me in my work at Morgan Stanley, being a multinational serving several clients and boasting of several employees of different cultures and background.

I am delighted to respond to this, a prior to commencing my postgraduate masters (Finance and Data Analytics) at the University of Stirling, I enrolled in the MasterCard's sponsored ALX Financial Analyst Programme (in partnership with the Corporate Finance Institute). Although, handling same with masters has been quite challenging, but i really enjoyed this. This is an eye opener for me and welcomes me into the world of a financial analyst. For so long, i have advised on the legal aspect of finance transactions without paying my mind to the number crunching and the underlying finance works that may have gone on. This Programme exposes me to this and i feel so excited to have been selected for the programme and my heart leaps in joy anytime i am in a CFI Class. Further exciting is that this leads me one step further to my plan to be a finance practitioner and obtaining my ACCA and CFA, and most importantly, creating immense value for clients and my employers
