Minecraft Dungeons is on the way to consoles and PC, albeit a bit later than expected. Mojang says the Minecraft dungeon-crawler spin-off will drop the 26th of May on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 4 and, as announced in last week's surprise Direct, Nintendo Switch.
The original plan was to launch Minecraft Dungeons in April by the Microsoft-owned studio. However, it was stated that due to coronavirus related concerns the project was not feasible due to coronavirus-related concerns. [We] wanted to guarantee the safety and health of our teams, and enable them to provide the best possible experience to you, our users."

- Minecraft Dungeons (@dungeonsgame), March 31 2020 Mojang also revealed some details about the game, including that it will feature cross-platform multiplayer via an coming patch. It's possible to join three players in both online and local co-op modes. The missions are a mix of procedurally generated elements as well as fixed elements that keep the game fresh every time you play, while still preserving the narrative and objectives.
Two versions of Minecraft Dungeons are coming out. The $20 standard edition will be available in two different versions. Titanlauncher A $30 hero edition will come with cosmetic items and access to DLC packs.
