All the Minecraft Cheats and Commands you'll ever Need

Minecraft cheats are used via commands, special code inputs that are entered into the console and enable you to modify features and other elements of your game, like teleporting, creating items and much more. Unfortunately , you are only able to do this if you're playing the PC version of the game, in which Minecraft cheats are implemented properly. People in PlayStation, Xbox, Switch or Mobile versions of Minecraft aren't able to cheat sadly, but for PC users, we can demonstrate how to have complete control and utilize Minecraft cheats and commands to the max, as well as an extensive list of commands to work from.



How to make use of Minecraft commands

If you've already started a game and want to enable cheats you can do so by accessing the Game Settings menu by hitting ESC and then tweaking it. You'll need to be the creator of the world you're in however! Visitors to your world cannot edit or change it because it's not their place to make this change.



Instead of entering individual player names into the prompt, you can utilize these shortcuts to choose specific targets to your command:



@p = the player closest to you.


@r is a random player


@a = all players around the world


@e = all entities around the globe


@s = you


Coordinates are expressed as x,y,z. The distance x is east (+) or west (-) from the source point. z is south (+) or north (-), from the origin point. The height is between zero and 255, 64 being sea level. To express relative coordinates that are offset from your current location, you can use the tilde (), or caret (), notation. The notation itself represents 0 or zero, ie no offset. Tilde offsets are based upon the world coordinates, which means that the 5 5 is 5 blocks +5 on x (east), no blocks on y (same height), and -5 blocks on Z (north). Caret offsets are based on the direction in which the head of the player is facing along the left upward, forward, and left axes. So 5 ^-5 would be 5 blocks left, 0 blocks up (same height) and 5 blocks backward.



Cheats and commands for Minecraft Player.



/kill [player] - Kill yourself (or specified player)



- Teleport yourself or a specified player to the coordinates entered by you



Effects apply to the specified person or entity, for an option duration in seconds. A list of effect codes can be found here.



- Clear all effects, or optionally just the specific effect, from the player or entity



- At an additional level, you can apply the enchantment on the player's selected item. HYPEDPVP The list of enchantment codes is available here.



Adds the specified amount of experience points to the player. To add experience levels include the word "levels" at the end of the line.



Cheats and commands for Minecraft's environment and world



/seed Creates the seed code that you can use to recreate your world in the future.



- Set the world's spawning point to the current position of the player, or possibly specified coordinates if you're entering.



You or an additional player can set the game's mode (use survival or creative adventure, or spectator).



- Queries the value of a game rule or amends it if an optional value is added. A list of rule codes is available here.



- Adjusts the difficulty (use normal, peaceful or hard).



- Sets the world's most popular game time. Use the numbers 0 (Dawn), 1000(Morning), 6000(Midday), 12000 (12000) or 18000 (Night).



To activate the day/night cycle, turn off the day/night cycle, and replace false with true



- Sets the weather type (use rain or clear, or thunder) for an option of a duration of seconds



- Stop weather changes, then replace false with true to activate



- Clone the blocks in the space between coordinates then place them with coordinates in the northwest corner



Minecraft Item and Mob Cheats, as well as Commands



/give [quantity]: Adds an item to the player's inventory in the specified quantity, if the item is stackable. Here is a list of the item codes.



Keep your inventory items even after you die, replace true with false to reverse
