Microsoft's official Minecraft: Education Edition will begin its life in an early access program (kind of like the original game did) in June. The idea is to give educators the chance to give the building game a test run during the summer break so they can evaluate how it would fit into their curriculums and provide feedback along the way. This will aid in the development of lesson plans.
Redmond has several tours, including the Temple of Artemis, Pyramids of Giza and Anderson Shelters, which were used to defend against bombs during World War II. It will be available for free on both Windows and OS X within a few months. However it is a beta version, with around 100 schools from 30 different nations will be released in May.
This June, 'Minecraft: Education Edition" is released.
