Elon Musk has broken his nine-day Twitter silence to share a surprise visit to see Pope Francis with four of his seven children - and even joked about his poorly-fitting suit.
Musk tweeted Friday evening, "Honored to meet @Pontifex Yesterday." Musk took five of his teenagers to the Vatican in Rome.

His fifth teenager, Xavier, was previously known as Xavier. She made it public last month that is now a transgender woman named Vivian Jenna Wilson and that she does not want to be associated with her billionaire father.

Musk has spoke of being an atheist, so it is unclear why he decided to meet with Pope Francis, and what the two men talked about.

Musk was married to Justine Wilson, a Canadian author, from 2000 until 2008.
Their first son, Nevada was born in 2002. He died at 10 weeks of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Musk and Wilson had five more children. Twin sons Xavier, Griffin, and triplet boys Damian, Kai, and Saxon were born.

The five teenagers have kept a fairly low profile, despite their father having joint custody.
Musk also has two additional children, X AEA-Xii, and Exa Dark Siderael. Musk is accompanied by Canadian singer Grimes.
Musk was not raised Catholic.
The South African billionaire, now 50 years old, was baptized when he was a child and attended Anglican Sunday school. However, he has stated that he doesn't believe he is a Christian.

In January, Musk told Babylon Bee: 'I agree with the principles that Jesus advocated. Musk stated that there was immense wisdom in Jesus his teachings and that he agrees with these teachings.
He added, "Things like "turn the other cheek" are extremely important in contrast to 'an eye for an eye'. An eye for an eye makes everyone blind.
"Forgiveness is essential and treating people as you would prefer to be treated. "Love your neighbor as you love yourself."
"But, I'm sure that if Jesus is saving people, I mean, I will not hinder His work.
"Sure I'll be saved." Why not?'
Musk's return to Twitter on Friday following a nine-day hiatus marked Friday's tweets.
He returned with a tribute to an YouTube gamer who passed away of cancer.
With a photo of Sonic the Hedgehog, the image was captioned with: 'Popular Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade with 12 billion subscribers has passed away at the age of 23 due to cancer and this caused me to realize that cancer is [anabsurd piece of trash and death However, you must also strive to live your life with people you trust. You would regret not doing things with them the next day.
He also shared a photo of him celebrating his 40th birthday in Venice with his ex-wife, British actress Talulah Riley.
"Venice is the place of great memory."
He said, "Feeling... maybe... a little bored?"
