Get ready to fall into the lava. A lot of lava! The Nether Update, Minecraft's next big adventure, will be available on June 23rd on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, Windows 10 and more. The Java version of the update will be available, along with Windows, Mac OS and Linux.
If you're like me - that is to say, totally thrilled about the Nether and eager to find out more about Minecraft's lava-fueled sauna - then you need to head to the official Nether Update website. It's a great site with many details about the new blocks, items, biomes, and threats awaiting you on the other side of the portal. Perhaps you'd rather explore the game with reckless abandon?
