Hi Caleb,

- On Saturday, I saw how discipleship was being done.
- To a certain extent, I'm quite limited in what I can do. I tried hanging out with Kerusso more. However, it still feels different, and I unable do anything about it.
Because my first commitment and love are towards Focalpoint and not Northcreek.
- I'm growing in affection however, that is not resulting in action, and that's frustrating. And I don't like to have a competition, right?
- My discipleship overflows from how God is using me.
- Discipled by me: Come to Focalpoint. Realistically I don't expect anyone to come. And then I'll be in trouble.


- Last week, some things became extremely clear to me. The benefits of intentional one-one discipleship in accomplishing our goal. Even as you guys were discussing yesterday how you all were able to talk outside Monday, discussing sermons, etc.
~> That is creating a certain jealousy in me. I don't think its necessarily a bad jealousy since I long for the deep fellowship that is becoming of Christians.

- I've been trying to replicate that for the last month. Trying to hang out more, etc. A deep fellowship exists in the mind and I love that, however, I can't see a fellowship in good works. Those in Kerusso are serving Northcreek, and I am serving Focalpoint. I am not able to share in that.
~> This have become especially critical in our dg since I have grown in affection for them, and I want to see Christ formed in them. But I don't see how to do life with them at all.
~> Even last week, many of the guys went to Cornerstone (Counseling) and the Men's breakfast. Which I presume is great. Similarly, in Focalpoint, we started going through how to be a good husband. And did you know that one guy got saved in the first meeting?

I've realized that going forward like this will be harmful to me because I am serving with a doubleminded.

- Do you have any thoughts on how to bridge that?
~> Urge people to join me as I serve.
~> Treat DGs as a guest speaker and not as an intentional discipler.
