Minecraft and magic have been mingled several times recently. Spellcraft is the most prominent of these magical mashups. It adds over 22,000 spells and new ways to utilize the spells. However, the fan-made EpicSpellsPlugin is definitely worth watching for.
We published a post about the plugin back in May. It was impressive enough at the time, but it seems that development has continued at an impressive rate since the time we wrote about it. Morica_ from Reddit wrote in a post that they have added the ability to cast spells with no commands. You now just have to rename the stick "Magic Wand" and then sneak around and draw symbols in the air.

The video demonstrates a couple of spells and the ways you can tie them to different movements. It's all very mystical, which is absolutely the vibe anything magical should strive for. Morica_ talks about a few other potential features that could be added to the plugin in a variety of comments throughout the post, but there's one that really stands out.
Morica_ said "Yes!" when asked about the possibility of creating custom spells. Even though this is unlikely to happen within the next few months it is something I really want. I also code spells to ensure that they can be used with pre-made items." This basically means that spells can be modified using items already included in the game. This could be the best method to live the Hogwarts Legacy, without having to buy the game.
