Due to its unpredictability and burden, the increase in public transit fares has an impact on both passengers and drivers. To save money, people travel in jeepneys and cheap tricycles, but is it ironic if the cost of these affordable modes of transportation increases? Will it still be a reasonable substitute for those without personal vehicles? Can we still describe it as inexpensive despite the fare price increase? Will students still be able to access it?
