YouTuber and Minecraft Streamer Technoblade, 23, is a Victim of Cancer.

YouTuber and Minecraft streamer Technoblade has passed away at the age of 23 following a year-long battle with stage four cancer.



The content creator from San Francisco who kept his identity a secret until revealing his name in the final video "Alex" gained fame after posting videos of himself playing Minecraft online in 2013. He gained more than 10,000,000 subscribers.



He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last August and had spent most of the past year in a secluded area while undergoing chemotherapy.



Although it isn't known the type of cancer Alex was diagnosed with Alex was diagnosed with, he did raise money for sarcoma charities and in December, Alex revealed that he had undergone surgery to remove a tumor on his arm.



In a video that was uploaded to Technoblade's YouTube channel this morning with the title 'So long nerds', his father, whose name is unknown revealed the devastating announcement of his son's passing with his many followers as well as an emotional farewell message from the famous YouTube star.



He called his son "the most incredible child" and shared an audio recording of his son. He said that if he had another hundred lives, he'd choose to be Technoblade once more , because these were the most memorable years of my life.

Technoblade was a highly private person who rarely shared his personal details. He mostly posted videos on the sandbox game Minecraft.



He had three younger sisters and a brother named Chris and a dog called Floof who was featured in his video of his final farewell with his father.



He revealed that his parents divorced, and that he lived in the same house as his father who runs an entertainment studio.



After high school, he took an absence year, before moving to Chicago where he attended college to become an English major.

But he retreated to San Francisco after dropping out.



In one of his videos how he began the Tecnoblade channel to build confidence and to gain 10 million subscribers.



He quickly grew a following of millions by sharing numerous videos of him playing Minecraft, although he never revealed his name or face to the fans.



He shared the shocking news about his cancer diagnosis in August in a video called "Where I've Been", which has been watched over 13 million times.



He told the story of being diagnosed with cancer following a suspicion that there was an injury to his arm.
