1. Dear Manager of Bedok Public Library,
2. I am writing to you to compliment one of the librarians for her good deed. On 5 October 2009, after borrowing my books, I left the library but dropped my wallet in the library by accident. When I reached the bus stop beside the library and was going to board bus service 78, I realised that my wallet had gone missing.
3. However, Lily, the duty librarian, had seen my wallet when I had dropped it earlier. She quickly picked up my wallet and went to the bus stop to find me just as I was looking for my wallet. I wanted to thank the librarian for her good deed but the bus driver was very impatient and told me to hurry up. I had to board the bus quickly.
4. I feel very thankful towards the librarian. If she had not returned my wallet, I would have no way to get home! She was very helpful towards me.
