Jim Jordan Backs Trump on his Reaction to Durham's Findings

Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan declared that Donald Trump was "right on target" to suggest that Hillary Clinton's operatives should be executed following the ex-president's accusations of her campaign of treason.



Trump unleashed a furious broadside on Clinton on Saturday after special counsel John Durham claimed that her team was trying to monitor his White House servers in a attempt to uncover connections to Russia to discredit him with.



The president who was one-term claimed that Durham's report was more thorough than Watergate and suggested that all involved be prosecuted and, at a minimum, executed.



He stated that the crime would have been punished by death if it had been committed over a longer period of time.



On Sunday, Jordan appeared on Fox & Friends where she said she supported Trump's statement.



'We've never seen anything like this before in history in the past,' Jordan said. "So President Trump's speech yesterday, I think is right on target. This is truly unique truly something that has never happened in the history of our great country.'



Jordan added that the'spying was worse than we] thought.'

Last week, CNN revealed that the committee that was investigating the January 6, 2021, attack had obtained call documents that suggested Trump was in contact with Jordan the day of the attack. Above, Trump (right) shakes hands with Rep Jordan (left) during an event in the year 2018.



CNN reported last week that call records indicate Trump speaking with Jordan for at most 10 minutes in the early morning following the insurrection of January 6th, 2021 and were obtained by the committee that was investigating the incident.



The committee is currently debating whether to subpoena Jordan after he refused to be interviewed.



Jordan said to CNN that he had spoken to President Obama a few times during the day, but he didn't recall the times.



The call logs are among other official documents turned over to the House committee following the Supreme Court ruled against Trump's appeal to keep them confidential.



"President Trump was right. Remember in 2017, when President Trump said they [Democrats] were spying on me and all the press and all the Democrats said no, they weren't and then in 2019, then-Attorney-General Bill Barr said spying took place...' Jordan told Fox & Friends hosts on Sunday.



"Well, now we know...Yes there was spies going and it was more than we had thought, as they were spying on the President of the United States in his current position.



'We do know this, John Durham is going right back to the start...It is all about the lies that started in 2016 when they began the concerted effort to go after a Presidential campaign. Jordan declared that this is what is terrifying about this.



Trump boasted Saturday that Team Clinton's behavior was worthy of execution.



They spoke after Durham's filings revealed how Hillary Clinton's election campaign paid money to a tech firm to 'mine data' from servers that were at Trump Tower, and later the White House.
