Minecraft updates are normally an exciting time for players, but this one was actually created entirely by artificial intelligence. While this is not the first time that AI has been used in the sandbox games, it is the first time that AI has been utilized to create new exciting and game-changing features.
SystemZee, who you might remember from their excellent ocean redesign, decided it would be fun to let an AI design an update that their team would implement. After a basic first suggestion in the video (below) of a crafting table, things turn quite bizarre.
While a wishing well that provides players with an item randomly when you throw in an emerald but our favorite is the Lava Bow - which shoots an bow that releases blocks of lava. While it sounds like good, it's actually an end-game weapon that could accidentally destroy an entire area and your PC - in seconds. It's pretty, however. It's beautiful, however.
Oh, and the update's name is Minecraft: World Domination. It's more of an actual Freudian slip than a declaration of intent. soundzpromising The AI also created the name. The name certainly ties in with some of the more bizarre and more destructive new features in this fake update. Also, if your toaster is looking at you funny, it might be trying to sabotage you.
