Protect Yourself From EMF
People claim that blocking EMF radiation from the environment is good for your health. However, this has not been proved. There are no specific guidelines for EMF radiation levels, and the effects of overexposure have not been adequately studied. Nevertheless, limiting your exposure to EMF radiation is always recommended for your health and safety. EMF radiation is generally not considered to be dangerous. This radiation is natural and has existed for billions upon billions of years. Most of this radiation is visible to us as sunshine.

EPA doesn't recommend limits on low-level ionizing radiation
An ex-health physicist, and former employee at the Sandia National Laboratories (one of three main nuclear weapons design centers), is asking for EPA limits on low-level ionizing radioactivity. He sent a copy of the SARI appeal to EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt. While he didn't like Pruitt's anti-science stance, he thought the time was right to relax radiation standards.

The EPA regulates both man-made and natural radiation. Human physiology is not able to distinguish between the two, but the energy level of radiation determines the health effects.

Protective metal shielding
There are a variety of materials that are suitable for electromagnetic shielding. Because of its high conductivity, non-ferrous nature, metal is a popular choice. Other common materials include carbon steel, pre-tin-plated steel, and copper. Silicone filled with metal particles is also used for some types of shielding. There are ways to reduce their negative effects.

First of all, Smart Meters transmit data through wireless signals. The power density of these signals is only a few microwatts, or mW, per square meter. These signals have a duty cycle that can vary according to the utility provider. However, most don't exceed 5%. Smart Meters can also offer additional services that may be optional.
