Gravity Of Motion

Are you familiar with Minecraft? It has a lot of admirers, but I'm sure you've heard of it. Minecraft is a game that involves using blocks to construct anything you can think of. It's a game that promotes creativity and building. Players can construct structures from cubes that are textured within a 3D world. Gameplay in the commercial version has two principal modes one of which is Survival, which requires players to find resources themselves and maintain their health and food; and Creative, where the player has unlimited resources, the ability to fly, and has no concept of health or hunger.



On birthdays, our children wake up to a house packed with birthday decorations.



For the table setting, I created Minecraft plates and cups. I put an Minecraft face on the cups. For the plates, I glued the Minecraft face on green plates. Then I hot glued a clear plate to the top.



Minecraft blocks were part of the table decorations. I also hung a few from the ceiling.

I made my son's creeper shirt using freezer stencils on paper.



I printed some Minecraft images to create an invitation to a birthday. Then I used an Minecraft word generator (to add the words I wanted to add) to the Creeper signs. This generator can be found here: Minecraft MemeGenerator



I ordered the Minecraft pic-ax, and I used the packaging to make a decorative sign. I created the Minecraft Steve heads using paper, glue, and cardboard boxes.



The Steve heads were a huge hit with the children. Here's a picture I took of my boys and the Steve heads before they went to school.



Although you can buy Steve heads online, it is much cheaper to make them yourself, especially because I made four.

As an afternoon snack I made block brownies for a snack in the afternoon.



I made an Creeper Birthday Cake using green icing and chocolate bars.



It was a Creeper-filled Minecraft birthday.
