Gravity of Motion

Are you familiar with Minecraft? It has a lot of admirers, but I'm sure you've heard of it. Minecraft is a game in which you put together blocks to make whatever you'd like. It's a game that promotes imagination and building. Players can construct structures from cubes that are textured within a 3D world. Gameplay in the commercial version includes two main modes that are Survival which requires players to gain resources by themselves and keep their health and food and Creative, in which the player has an unlimited supply of resources and the ability to fly, and no notion of hunger or health.



Our children wake up to a room decorated with birthday party decorations to celebrate their birthdays.



I made Minecraft plates and cups for the table setting. I stuck an Minecraft face to the cups. For the plates, I glued a Minecraft face on green plates. Then, I stuck (hot glue around the edges) the clear plate on top.



The table decorations included Minecraft blocks. They also had them hanging from the ceiling.

They were loved by children.

I used freezer paper stencils to create my son's creeper shirt.



I printed some Minecraft images to create a birthday sign. Then I made use of a Minecraft word generator (to add the words I wanted to add) to the Creeper signs. The generator is available here: Minecraft MemeGenerator



I ordered the Minecraft photo ax, and then made use of the packaging to make another sign with a decorative design. I made the Minecraft Steve heads using glue, paper and card board boxes.



The Steve heads were a big hit with the children. Here's a picture of my boys and the Steve heads in the morning before school.



Although you can buy Steve heads online, it is much cheaper to make them yourself, particularly because I made four of them.

For a snack in the afternoon, I made block brownies.



I created a Creeper Birthday Cake with green frosting, chocolate bars, and chocolate chips.



It was a fun-filled Minecraft birthday celebration.
