Rami Beracha's advice to students at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya is inspired by his personal experiences. Rami was a young man who decided to study law. He was not sure if that he would like to pursue law, but he pursued his studies and earned a Master's degree in New York. After that was completed, he joined the international law firm. However, through his work at the Wall Street law firm, it became apparent that he was interested in business more than law. He quit his job and went to France to study for an MBA.

Following her graduation in the year 1996, Beracha was employed by the Venture Capital Fund Pitango. Pitango is Israel's most significant venture capital company. Pitango invests in companies in their infancy stages, and develops the core areas of high-tech. Pitango has made over 200 investments to date and had over 85 exits. Rami became the managing partner in 2000 and for the next 18 years lead numerous deals that resulted in with successful exits for fortune 500 giants such as Broadcom, Marvel, Cisco and Apple.
It didn't end there. In 2011, Globes awarded Beracha the "Esteemed Partner" award, recognizing him as the influential investor that he has become. Rami launched Sosa in 2014 as a brand new initiative. Sosa has innovation centers located in New York, Tel Aviv and Tel Aviv. Here they assist innovative high-tech companies to partner with entrepreneurs from all over the world seeking to work with promising Israeli startups. Sosa was selected recently to lead the New York City cyber center.

Newest Investment Dreams Amidst Covid19
Rami Beracha believes, despite the fact that the last couple of years with the coronavirus epidemic have been economic hardships, there are still new opportunities. He suggests searching for new companies that could have an enormous digital disruption. This might be "Covid Long".
Beracha also has some new ventures. He has recently co-founded a London-based venture capital firm that is based on blockchain, along with a business group. Beracha believes that this is the ideal time to invest on the Arab market, following the signing of the Abraham Accords by Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Dubai is an ideal starting point, because it is a wealthy city and modern. The new fund, Ender Ventures as he calls it, will join Israeli as well as European Investors to support UAE high-tech companies in virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and robotics. The United Arab Emirates is unique in its approach to business. Because of its low business taxes and favorable legislation, many companies will be drawn to the UAE in the near future.

Rami Beracha's Challenge Past
Although Rami Beracha appears to have been successful in every project that he set his sights on, his journey was not easy. Beracha like many Israelis was drafted into the army as an infant soldier. He was a Paratrooper's Brigade combat soldier and fought in the Lebanon War. Rami was part of a rescue team that was sent to assist wounded soldiers in a wild minefield in 1983, shortly after the war. Rami fell on the mines and fellto the ground, loosing his foot as well as his hand.

He was in a hospital for rehabilitation, and it was one of the most difficult times of his life. He was not able to move, and he fell into desperation and depression. All of his dreams to further his military career seemed lost , and he did not know the identity of who or what he was. Rami's suffering allowed him to discover the drive and passion to continue living and to create new dreams. He decided to become even stronger and more efficient than he was before the injuries. Rami took on the challenge of trying various extreme sports. He now enjoys snowboarding and kitesurfing, as well as climbing up Mount Kilimanjaro. Sometimes, he feels that his unharmed past is pushing forward, even as he works to improve.
Rami gives donations to and volunteers in many organisations and is committed to helping young soldiers, just like him, who have been wounded in combat. Rami took a group wounded soldiers to Nepal in the year 2016 where he was awarded the rank of major. He was promoted to the rank of major within both the Israeli paratrooper ranks, as well as the fire brigades. Despite all the obstacles he encountered, his dreams were realized in his early years as a young man. His story and his passion can be a source of inspiration for othersto never give up, no matter what the circumstance. Rami did not let his injuries keep him from achieving his goals. He continued to learn and trying out new techniques until he finally became stronger than ever before.
