GitHub - Docker/awesome-compose: Awesome Docker Compose Samples

A collection of Docker Compose samples.

These samples provide a starting point to integrate different services with a Compose file and to manage their deployment with Docker Compose.

These samples can be used for local development environments, such as project setups or tinkering on software stacks. These examples should not be used in production environments.

Examples of Docker Compose apps that integrate multiple services. Single service examples. Basic configurations for different platforms (not production ready - useful for personal use).

Samples of Docker Compose applications that offer multiple integrated services

Basic setups for various platforms (not production-ready - but useful for personal use)

Gitea PostgreSQL Nextcloud / PostgreSQL Nextcloud / Redis / MariaDB Pi-hole/ cloudflared - Sample Pi-hole setup with use of DoH cloudflared service Prometheus / Grafana Wordpress / MySQL

These steps will guide you through the bootstrap stage of creating and deploying examples of containerized applications with Docker Compose.

Make sure you have Docker and Compose installed. Windows or macOS: Install Docker Desktop - Linux Install Docker and then Docker Compose

A sample of code is run

The root directory of each sample contains compose.yaml which describes the configuration of the components of the service. Each sample can be run locally in a environment by going into the root directory of each one and running:

Check the README.md of each sample to find more information about the structure of the sample and what is the expected output. To stop the sample application and remove all containers, run:
