What is the new allay mob on the block? At Minecraft Live 2021, the developers at Mojang once again offered us the latest mobs to pick from to be included in the game. The ultimate winner was the item-collecting allay.
The Minecraft allay mob is a little blue fairy with bat wings. If you give it an item, it will search for nearby dropped items of the same kind. However, as the developers note on Twitter, it won't duplicate the item or search through chests looking for it. It's just about grabbing the item when it's dropped on the overworld. The allay will drop items found near a noteblock, apparently because it loves dancing.
The allay mob is one many new Minecraft mobs that are included in The Wild update, it joins Minecraft Frogs, a brand new mangrove swamp biome and tree, and the mud blocks. Here's everything you should know about the allay mob in Minecraft.

Other options in the vote included the glare, the dark-skinned, small-sized guy who was eliminated in round one and the copper belem, which was a craftable friend who would run around pushing copper buttons. Of course, there's a possibility that the winners of the vote could be added to the game later on The Wild update has swamp features shown in the Minecraft Biome vote of 2019, which was defeated by the mountain biome. There's no guarantee that this will occur.
