This Zelda Breath of the Wild Mod For Minecraft Absolutely Hyrules

The stunning and beautiful landscapes of Breath of the Wild are such a great match for Minecraft that someone built the entire BOTW map in the past year, but it was only a beginning point. Modders from another group added some Zelda gameplay to the map using the Sheikah slate with all its capabilities, including a boomerang as well as Sheikah towers. If you're sick to death of creepers exploding all your hard work, you can give them the taste of their own torture with Link's remote detonate bombs.



PCGamesN has discovered that the Breath Of The Wild datapack was made in collaboration with modders Craiy and Joris. It's really cool.



The most obvious things you'll encounter in your Minecraft world are the rather common Bokoblin camps that are scattered throughout the landscape, and the less common Sheikah Towers designed to look like the giant spires Link climbs across Hyrule. While fighting Bokoblins is a good first step, you should be able to also get their Boko Stick clubs. However the next priority should be making ladders and climbing up to the top of the Sheikah Tower. This is where you'll find the ancient Sheikah multi-tool of destruction, and get ready to begin creating destruction.

You can grab and move metal blocks such as copper or iron by with the magnesis function.



It would be quite interesting to build an underwater base that can only enter with cryonis icepillars. I tried channeling my inner Link by dropping iron blocks on top of bokoblins, but alas they just phase through them and fall to the ground instead of doing damage. They didn't realize I was trying to make them miserable.



The boomerang and hero's tunic are scarce but are worth a look-up, especially the tunic, which allows you to check the health of an enemy's current position. Craiy provides all the information and more in the mod show video that follows.



The current version of the BOTW datapack is for Minecraft 1.19 with all the cool new features, though Craiy claims that the group is planning to release a new version of the pack that includes even more Zelda information.



Unfortunately, the designer of last year's Breath of Wild map chose not to offer it for download. It is better to be on the lookout for the map that is being created by Grazzy. This is the datapack Craiy and Joris used as a demonstration. It's not a good idea to use them together because Grazzy is building Sheikah towers by himself , and the BOTW datapack creates the towers.
