We've just released version 3.4.20.0 of the launcher that includes beta support for ARM based devices and preparations for translations and multi-language support.
Previously ATLauncher didn't work too well with ARM devices, and with this update we've included support for running Minecraft on ARM devices. Minecraft servers We've tested this out a bunch and it should be acceptable, but if own an ARM device and you notice any problems, please join us via our Discord to help us refine and fix issues in the future as we now fully support ARM devices.
We've been working to make the launcher work with multi-language languages. While we're not yet there, we're close. The final step is to get the translations up to date so that the UI can be modified to accommodate different languages. If you are fluent in English or another language and would like to assist in translating the launcher, please visit the CrowdIn page. Also feel free to reach out in the #translations channel in our Discord channel.
Jul 11, 2022 Mojang accounts can't be used online any longer
We're currently seeing multiple issues being raised where people can no longer login to servers online with their non migrated Mojang account.
It appears that Microsoft has pulled the support for Mojang accounts and in order to play on servers online currently, you have to migrate your account to an Microsoft account since the old api's used for session management within the game no longer are working.
It could be a bug but it is more likely it's a deliberate error. You are no longer able to sign in to online servers with Mojang accounts.
May 18 2022 CurseForge Modpacks Project Distribution Toggle
When CurseForge announced that an official api was coming to third parties to use but with an exception. CurseForge projects would be able to decide whether third-party downloads are permitted for their projects. CurseForge mods can now choose to deny distribution to third-party clients.
The change is in effect today and will bring about some modifications to how you download modpacks from CurseForge.
Modpacks that include modifications that block third parties from downloading them might require additional steps to manually download the mods via your browser to complete the installation process.
A similar process will be followed in any mods that are added to instances from CurseForge as well.

May 17 2022 - Modrinth Modpacks have been launched
Modrinth Modpacks have now launched in an Alpha state.
Modrinth Mod (and now modpack) platform that acts as an alternative to CurseForge is the information you must be aware of. Modrinth is open-source and has a lot of active development. It's thrilling to watch the progress of Modrinth. To find out more about Modrinth and what they're doing go to modrinth.com.
Modpacks can now be uploaded and downloaded from Modrinth. ATLauncher supports exporting instances in Modrinth format for upload to Modrinth and downloading and installing pre-made packs.
