I was in awe of this after reading about the World of Starcraft mod. What if we could have the scenario-building tools and map that have been a part of every Blizzard RTS since Warcraft II?
This isn't totally absurd. The Mission Architect is used by Superhero MMO City of Heroes. This allows players to create and build their own content using an array of missions, which creates an entire story. This feature is the next step. It takes the burden off the designers, something I was excited to witness.
We could create an online quest creator or more powerful editor to help us evaluate the creative potential of the community. AZOV.TV This could allow us to offer roleplayers a better way to tell their tales. It's definitely better than the illegal option of hosting a private WoW server.
If there was a Well of Possible Timelines in the Caverns or Time to access the player-created, in-game quests ... What would you do with the power of a WoW quest creator? What if you could design quests that let you play as lore characters such as The Hunter and the Prince. Or would you want to add your own spin on the kill 10 boars quest? What about creating quests that let you fly around in the Emerald Dream. Your RP quest to discover your father will be a big hit with your RP friends and the general public. What would be your idea of an adventure?
