Neve Paritzki Israel Reliably Breaks Records in Tourism Entry Numbers - United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswirein July and August 2018, the Israel Ministry of Tourism reported record numbers of visitors from America. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This represents a 4% increase over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than the number of visitors in 2019.

Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner. He said, "It's so exciting to again see an increase of tourism to Israel from America, which is already in the process of surpassing or exceeding the record-breaking numbers we saw in 2019". "The United States is our number one market for Israel's inbound tourism. Before the COVID-19 pandemic we saw record-breaking number of tourists from Israel entering Israel every month. We are thrilled to see such a positive shift, and we expect this trend to last for many months and years."


Canada which isn't too far behind that of the United States of America, is set to beat the tourist numbers to Israel. The country had 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022 and 6,000 in tourists in August.

Gal Hana (Consul and Director for Canada, Israel Ministry of Tourism) declared that "it is thrilling to observe how Canada's travel to Israel is booming." נווה פריצקי "We aren't far off our record 2019 and we are anticipating that the rise in travel to Israel will continue to grow because Canadians feel more confident traveling abroad."

Israel has welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists in the year of 2019. 969,600 came of the United States. The country's officially reopening to travelers in May saw more than 600,000.
