Old School RuneScape's 150th Anniversary Quest as a Kingdom Divided Goes Live

A Kingdom Divided, Old School RuneScape's 150th quest, is now available for PC, Mac, Steam, iOS, and Android players, complete with full cross-platform gameplay. The eighth installment in Old School RuneScape's lore-packed Great Kourend quest series, this level-up quest for experienced players continues the Kourend Council storyline, which has been developing for more than four years.



In A Kingdom Divided, players look behind the Kingdom of Great Khourend's facade of prosperity and peace to uncover allegations of corruption at the heart of the ruling Kourend Council. Players must contend with more than the Council's petty political games. There is a deeper conspiracy that has been in place for hundreds of years. A darker power is growing in the kingdom and could change the face of Gielinor forever.

"Great Kourend has some of the most storied lore of Old School RuneScape. RSWIKI It was the first place we held our competitive Leagues event and is now the perfect place to explore conspiracy and corruption within its ruling Council. While A Kingdom Divided is a quest for experienced players, Old School already has over 700,000 players who have completed the previous seven installments of the questline and are ready to tackle the case.



"And, as with the new content that is added to Old School, the addition of A Kingdom Divided arrives with players' approval. We surveyed the quest with players and it passed with a very high approval rating and more than 30,000 votes and with 92.7 percent of players of players voting for its inclusion. Now, we're keen to see how players take on the machinations of the Kourend Council to ensure that Great Kourend is a kingdom divided no more."



Completing a Kingdom Split will reward players with 26 new spells for Arceuus Spellbook. In addition to two quest points and 10,000-experience lamp, it grants them two quest points, a pair of quest points, a torch that has 10,000 experiences, an increase in Kharedst’s Memoirs charges to 60, and a respawn point at Kourend Castle.



As the content is released in Old School RuneScape, the live game's login screen has also been given an A Kingdom Divided-themed update and now features the winning player-designed art from the recent Old School community contest, where the winner's artwork garnered more than 30,000 votes.



A Kingdom Divided is now available in Old School RuneScape for PC, Mac, Steam, iOS and Android, with cross-platform play across all platforms.
