For me, on the age of 82 years, it was a visit of a lifetime. Flock to Marion was a once in a life time experience! The birding was out of this world! We had wandering albatross soaring past our bed room home windows and three different species of penguin poking there heads out to see what we were and to say howdy. A unique and once-in-a-lifetime experience to see the seabirds in the southern ocean. An superior unique expertise of a lifetime to see endangered marine animals and sea birds and to make a contribution to conserve the unique habitat.
Thank you Birdlife for organising this cruise, I will always remember the experience. A trip loved by young and old from all walks of life. Our youngest liked each second and even refused to go to dinner as a end result of he’d somewhat have listened to the experts speaking about birds and dialog. It was a visit that was a dream come true, made potential by BirdLife South Africa. Amazing method to help conservation of Marion Island and have enjoyable on the same time. This is what a vacation must be all about.

What an exquisite expertise. Cannot await the subsequent journey. This went to an uncommon destination and gave vacationers an opportunity to contribute to the conservation of what drew them to the journey. It was such an awesome experience thank you!! Still get emotional when I think of Albatros Thursday!
Great initiative to bring consciousness to bird conservation. With a household of four we had the most effective “working” holiday ever. Up every single day at first mild, scanning the skies and the waters, having fun with the guides’ directions, loving the scientific exposés, the terrific food and drink. Ready to return tomorrow morning. An as soon as in a lifetime trip that I will cherish eternally.
