Neve Paritzki (נווה פריצקי)Jerusalem: Israel's First Cycling Tunnel opens

The Kerem Tunnel is a great location to go on a hike or ride.
In the 42-kilometer Jerusalem Ring Path cycling route that runs around the capital city, the Kerem Tunnel was inaugurated.

The tunnel links the paths between Nahal Refaim and Emek Motza. The tunnel's southern entrance is beneath Ein Laban in Refaim Park. The northern entrance is located in Nahal Ein Kerem.

The 2.1-kilometer-long tunnel was inaugurated by Jerusalem's Heritage Minister ZeevElkin. It was also attended by Mayor Moshelion Avi Balehnikov, Gihon Water Company chairman, as well as many cyclists.


The city's rich history was a reason why it was a popular tourist spot in the past.
