My Campaign Slogan? Yawn
Rick Scott Wins Florida Governor's Race:: Rick Scott re-wrote the rulebook to Florida Politics. It was awkward but in the end, Florida chose to elect a the businessman who touted his job creating experience. Who built a company from nothing. He knew attacking the President was the route to the Governor's mansion. He ducked Newspaper Op-Ed boards and didn't talk to the media if it wasn't a friendly set up. Billion dollar medical fraud? Yeah, but that was like sooo long ago..

Did Suzanne Kosmas really want to be there during this last year? I watched her concession speech and she looked almost relieved that she wasn't going to be the object of attack from angry constituents. I'm probably wrong and it was late, but she has taken so many shots and isn't a fighter like Grayson. She stays out of the public eye. Suzanne Kosmas means well, but she was in over her head in Washington.

What to do with Herman Cain? Like Gingrich, he has an image to maintain. He may be setting himself up for a position in the GOP Party apparatus - just not as a candidate. Did we really expect him to be President after the elections next November? He has run a good race, picked up some worthwhile supporters (fair-weather fans?), and would fit in well as a fund-raiser and executive within the Party.

So on three key issues, political reform, fairness and civil liberties he has a very low regard for Labour. This attack on the lack of integrity of Gordon Brown will lead to increased speculation that if there was any deal with Labour then one price would be that they would have to ditch their leader Gordon Brown. There have already been three attempted coups by the Labour Party to remove him as leader and he remains an unelected Prime Minister and I believe an unelected leader of his party. Mr Clegg has said that the system was "clearly bonkers" and that "It would be preposterous for Gordon Brown to end up like some squatter in no 10 because of some constitutional nicety".

Rubio beat Governor Crist (twice, if you count bailing from the GOP primary), so what's next for the Governor? "Going fishing and finishing strong for the people of Florida" he said earlier. I'll miss our wacky Governor's survival antics and one-liners. This is probably going to be it for him. malaysia election As an American, I am ashamed at the Republican Party in particular and some of the populous in general, who have continually attacked Barak Obama. What is the fear? Why is prejudice and racism rearing its ugly head now; at a time when we desperately need someone with a vision, someone with a calm reasoning, someone who is young, vibrant, and able to effectively deal with the many problems facing us as one nation.

Clearly the Obama campaign never imagined that McCain would pick Sarah. They, like most Democrats, were initially stunned. They couldn't believe McCain would pick an unknown.

Hillary can be non committal about Iraqi Freedom, merely hinting she will bring the forces home, until the last month of the campaign. Then she can make it a promise; since there will still be over 100,000 American troops in Iraq by election day and the casualty numbers could easily be double what they are now.
