Free Mario download for Minecraft players

Mario is making his official Minecraft debut, jumping from one computer-generated world to the next.
A new update for the Wii U version will bring Mario, Luigi and Wario, Toad, Princess Peach, as well as many other Super Mario Bros characters, to the game from next Tuesday.
The best part is that the vibrant characters are available for free in these days of expensive downloadable content.

The Mario pack will bring more than just characters into the pixelated realm of Minecraft.
You can also re-skin the game's objects and textures and take on more difficult versions of Hammer Bros. or Dry Bones. All the while listening to the soothing sounds from Super Mario 64.
Fans will be able to create their own locations by using Mario-themed Minecraft blocks. Then, they will be able to explore new worlds with classic faces from one of the most beloved games (albeit slightly more aggressive).
A disc-based Minecraft for Wii U version, including all Mario extras is expected to be released in June.
