With all the new versions, updates, builds, and mods, it's hard to believe how far Minecraft has been able to go. Although the game was fully released in 2011, it was still available in Early Access since 2009. It's easy to forget just how much has been and gone in that time, especially if you've not actually played it since it first hit the world. Thankfully, this new trailer gives a beautiful insight into what's changed.
This is a fan-created version of the original Minecraft trailer. Minecraft Names Redditor RedAdventurer11 posted an updated take on Mojang's first big tease, and it's a joy to watch, especially when you compare it with the original. It follows the same format as the official one , but showcases all of the new features biomes, features, and other elements that have been added to the game in the last decade.

It does a much better job of selling the game simply because of the amount of new content that's been added. RedAdventurer11 made it a point to showcase the major changes in the correct order as LennyTheSpider noted. The segment runs for about 58 seconds and features the ice spikes that begin at 1.7 the ocean monuments that begin at 1.8, and end-of-the-city fights starting at 1.9.
It's a wonderful little detail that really helps to create a sense progression and the length of the video. It's also not something RedAdventurer11 expected people to take note of - however, the Minecraft community never ceases to amaze. This trailer has been reanimated and is a wonderful piece of nostalgia. It's hard to not smile when you view it.
